Denim Shirt Lookbook | Spring 2017

Good Evening Munchkins!

Today I will be sharing with you some of my favourite outfits during Spring/Summer, featuring my much loved denim shirt. Last year, I literally lived in this from March all the way through to August, and I have a feeling I’m going to be the same this year! It’s slowly becoming a staple in my wardrobe once again, so I thought I would share with you some combinations I like to wear it with in Spring time. Just as a little disclaimer, this denim shirt was given to me by my Mum and was something she used to wear when she was younger, so I have no idea where it’s from! There’s probably loads of alternatives to this one, though, so please don’t be too disheartened.

On slightly cooler days, I may wear leggings and a normal length T-shirt partnered with my denim jacket. I’m sure I’ve featured all these clothes on here before, but it’s always nice to see how other people like to wear them! If it’s not already noticeable, this is mainly for casual wear. Going from top to bottom, the FRIENDS t-shirt is from Primark, the ‘Living For The Weekend’ top is from H&M and the Dan and Phil top is probably from Ebay!

On nicer, hotter days, I will choose to wear a crop top instead so that I’m not wearing too much material, but the denim jacket keeps me covered if there is a breeze (which there always seems to be when you live by the sea!). Again, I will wear leggings because it is still Spring in England! All of these tops are from New Look, (apart from the last one which is also from Primark) and I think the orange and grey looks most stunning against the blue of the denim jacket. How many of you were betting I would say that?!

And there we have it! I hope you have enjoyed this blog post – I love writing about clothes and fashion so please let me know if you have liked reading about it. Not very much to say but I did want to keep this mainly about the pictures and for you to use this as some inspiration. I will, of course, wear other things with my denim jacket, but these were my absolute staple outfits last year, and will continue to be so this year, I think. I can always write an updated one with Summer outfits later on in the year because I have a fair few of those as well, so just let me know on that one if you would like it.

Thank you so much for reading and I’ll see you Thursday,

Rachel xx

Summer Makeup Statements 2016

Good Evening Munchkins!

Today I will be talking you through a few of this summer’s makeup/beauty statements that I’ve noticed and have done or loved myself. I feel like I’ve just blinked and summer’s disappeared (though technically there’s still about a week left) and I feel like I haven’t done half the things I planned to! Oh well, there’s always next summer!

Bright Nails

This is one I’ve actually completed myself and love for this time of year! I feel like bold nails can add a sometimes much-needed pop of colour in summer, especially as I spend most of my time wearing black. I will admit, however, it is quite difficult getting outfits and makeup colours to not clash all of the time, but I think I have found my statement colour! A couple of weeks back myself and my Granny went to go get our nails done (my first time – much excitement!) and once your looking at the colour charts, you suddenly want all of the bright ones on there (I can’t be the only one who thinks this!). I chose an O.P.I nail polish in the colour I Eat Mainly Lobster (I think, purchase HERE). This is a stunning red/orange/coral that really suits the tan I’ve magically picked up and it’s so pretty. I’m really sorry that I forgot to take a photo but I’m sure I’ve painted (see what I did there?) a decent picture for you there.

Bronzed Complexion

I’m naturally quite a pale person and the entirety of my body tends to tan other than my neck, so I use a slightly paler foundation on my face and just bronze a shiz-ton! To do this, I have been using the Maybelline Master Sculpt compact in Light/Medium (purchase HERE and HERE). I love using this to lightly contour and then full-on go for it on my forehead, along my jaw line and a little bit down my neck. I have mentioned previously that it can look quite orange-y but somehow it matches the colour of my tan really well so looks a bit more ‘natural’. I also think that at this time of year it’s okay to bronze as much as you want because most have a natural tan by now anyway, so using my usual powder brush hasn’t actually caused me any problems as it might do if I wasn’t tanned. To read my review of this product, you can click HERE.

Bright Lips/Matte Lips

Something that has been huge this year have been liquid lipsticks that dry down to a matte finish. I’m yet to get my hands on one (or more), but something else I have been loving instead are bright lips. I’ve reached that point in doing my makeup now where nothing really scares me and orange lips? Yeah, slap a bit of that on! The lipstick photographed is from Rimmel and is in the shade Coral in Gold (available HERE and HERE). It looks crazy bright but, trust me, it doesn’t apply that scary! I’ll try and include it in a MOTD or something some time soon to show you what it’s like on, but I love my oranges so of course I’ve been wearing this whenever I can get away with it! Going back to matte lips for a second, I really do love the way they look and I’ve heard that the best ones are from Anastasia Beverley Hills, NYX and Jeffree Star Cosmetics. I promise, I will be jumping on that bandwagon soon!

Bold Highlighter

Do we even need to talk about the perks and benefits to our everyday lives that highlighter has? I’ve recently invested in the Sleek Solstice Highlighter Palette (I’m still in awe of the beauty – expect a review soon!) and my highlighter has just been blinding ever since. I’ve only used the pale, candlelight colour so far (that description, though!) but I’m so excited to test out the purple shade and of course let you guys know what I think of all the colours in a bit more depth. I think that if your going to be getting away with any kind of bold highlighter, it is in summer when dewy skin is a must as well and everyone is glowing. Though of course I’ll be whipping this out all year round to blind all the people I really don’t want to socialize with! This palette is available HERE and HERE.

Lighter, Fruitier Fragrance

Finally, fragrance. I have a nose that is attracted to almost anything it meets so of course I have to switch up my fragrance. I think something lighter and fruitier is always a good hit, and a body spray I have been loving recently (as mentioned in my previous Favourites) is from Charlie and is the limited edition Rio Rebel scent. I’m not sure if this is still available now the Olympics are over, but if it is, you need to go out and grab it. I can’t remember what ingredients are in it exactly, but I know there’s a little bit of coconut in there, so it already has my seal of approval! I know this is going to sound crazy but it smells as the can looks. Just don’t ask what’s going on in my head – I don’t know myself! You can purchase this HERE and HERE. I think carrying around a small roll-on perfume is also a must in summer as we can all get a bit hot and sweaty and this just perks you and your scent up a little bit.

And there we have it! I hope you have enjoyed this blog post – I’ve loved writing it so look out for more in the future! Let me know what you think your summer makeup/beauty statements are and what you will now try out (or maybe for next year!).

Thank you so much for reading and I’ll see you soon,

Rachel xx

Summer Pyjamas Lookbook 2016

Good Evening Munchkins!

Today I will she showing you a handful of my favourite pyjama sets that I love to wear at this time of year. I am 100% a pyjama girl and, if I could, I would spend each and every day sat in my pyjamas – being cosy is key in my life! I thought I would show you what I love and why and perhaps give you a bit of inspiration (if you need it, of course!). I realise it’s pretty late in the summer but the sun here in the UK still seems to be shining brightly so perhaps these will still be worn throughout September…

The first set I love are these Alice in Wonderland pyjamas from Primark. I included these in my most recent haul (find HERE) and I haven’t yet worn them but I am more than excited to do so! These are a simple shorts/vest top combo with a monochrome effect on them that I love (dark Alice in Wonderland – yes please!) and in gold glitter (bonus points!) it says ‘Off To Wonderland’. I love these so much – Primark always do pyjamas right in my opinion. They are so soft and, even if I did buy them a bit big for comfort, I love the way they look on me. They make sleeping just that bit easier for me!

The second set I love is this playsuit which I bought from the New Look sale after Christmas. Not going to lie, this intrigued me. Before this, I’d never had a playsuit set of pyjamas so I was really excited to try it and low and behold, it did not disappoint! This is still so soft after however many times of wearing it and it fits so nicely. I love being able to chuck this on and know that it won’t slip and slide during the night (as shorts and vest tops can sometimes do) and it just feels so cosy. Like the first pair of pyjamas, this has got spaghetti straps so there can be a bit of side-boob happening, but I think everyone in my household knows what boobs look like now! If you haven’t tried a pyjama playsuit, I highly recommend you do!

The final set I will be showing you today are, again, from Primark but I bought these about 18 months ago and they have a One Direction print on them. These were the pyjamas that got me through Zayn’s exit and their ‘hiatus’ (though I think we can all admit that it’s become a bit shady!) and like the first pair, it’s just a vest top and shorts set that I love! This top has slightly thicker straps but it’s still a bit skimpy in places and has a pretty old picture of my future husbands on, but that doesn’t matter to me! The shorts are patterned with ‘1D’ on a black and white stripy background and have a thick pink drawstring that I don’t find much use for, if I’m going to be honest (but that’s just me). I love these so much and it gives me a chance to remember good times!

And there we have it! I hope you have enjoyed this blog post – let me know what other lookbooks you would like to see! Also, don’t forget to tell me which ones you like best from this selection or what you love about summer pyjamas!

Thank you so much for reading and I’ll see you Thursday,

Rachel xx

Primark & Select Haul | Summer 2016

Good Afternoon Munchkins!

Today I will be showing you the few bits and pieces I picked up earlier in the week whilst out shopping in Primark and just a little bit in Select. I know I uploaded a blog post on Tuesday saying how I don’t write hauls enough so just to contradict myself, I thought I would end the week with one! I did go with a purpose as oppose to just mooching around and (as I’m sure you’ll agree) I actually spent my money pretty well considering I’m a teenage girl with an addiction to Primark shopping!

The first thing I picked up in Primark (and was my main intention) was this little pyjama set for the grand total of £6. I’m going on holiday in the next couple of weeks and something I quite like to do is buy even just one new item of clothing for it so that I can look forward to the holiday instead of feeling anxious so new pyjamas were obviously a must – especially as their Alice and Wonderland themed! I did want to buy a set with leggings and a top but I didn’t have enough money for that and everything else I bought and they didn’t have any Alice ones so shorts and a vest it was! Anyone who owns a pair of summer Primark pyjamas will know that their shorts are ridiculously short so I bought it in XL which I think is 18-20 and I’m normally a 12-14, so these will definitely be hanging off me! I did try on a size L and didn’t like how it fit on me so obviously the bigger the better. This just has a basic striped vest top (which is quite baggy now I’ve bought it so big!) with a little Disney cartoon Alice and in gold glitter above her it says ‘Off To Wonderland’. The little shorts have a white background and little black items that are relevant such as a pack of playing cards or the little symbols you get on playing cards and things like that. They were just too cute and as soon as my friend pointed them out to me I was nearly crying. I am that obsessed with Alice and Wonderland! And for £6, you can’t go wrong, really! I’m also loving the monochrome theme – it’s me in a set of pyjamas!

I then had to buy myself a new pair of little basic black pumps because the ones I already owned were starting to get old and scuffed and all horrible things like that. I basically repurchased the exact same pair I already own and for £4, I was not turning them down! These are so cheap but my previous ones lasted around 18 months and I wear them all the time, all year round – they just go with everything! These are just a pair of black pumps with no heels at all with a fabric-y type material covering it. I love these shoes and I think they are a must for every girl who needs a pair of ‘chuck on’ shoes!

The next thing I purchased was this really cute pair of vintage style sunglasses for £2 (which I’m modelling in the sun for you now – sorry for the tiny picture!). I’m short-sighted, meaning I wear glasses all the time anyway and had put off buying sunglasses for a long time because I just thought ‘whats the point?’. I then learnt that without wearing sunglasses, the skin around your eyes can age quicker and I know I’m only 15, but wrinkles already scare me! Hence these beauties appearing in my life! I love these – they fit my head perfectly (I have a pretty small head) and despite having quite a large frame (which I’ve been told I suit, anyway!), they still suit me pretty well. They are in a matte, shell-nude type colour that I think will go with everything and the frame is kind of cat-eyed and reminds me a bit of Audrey Hepburn (I have no idea why). I think these might just be a timeless pair of sunnies that will work next summer as well as the rest of this one. The actual lenses have a kind of gradient type of effect as they get lighter towards the bottom of them which is good for when you’re looking down and reading or just generally doing something that doesn’t involve your retinas being burnt. I just really really like them!

Right, last time I did a Primark haul I shared a piece of underwear with you and I think I spoke about how much I love novelty things and Primark is clearly the place for that! So, again, I decided to pick up a pair of knickers with a grey/charcoal background and little white cat faces on. There is also a really cute turquoise, glittery button on the front but it’s just for show instead of anything actually practical. Once more, there is a story. We were just wandering around the pyjama and underwear section (for obvious reasons) and my friend saw these and was like ‘They look like Dan and Phil!’. That’s enough for me to buy them and wear them on places Dan and Phil probably shouldn’t be. But yes, I love new underwear and I love Dan and Phil and £1.70, I couldn’t turn them down! I always love the way Primark underwear fits, as well; it’s just so comfy!

The final thing I bought from Primark was a little present for my Mum because she’s lovely and deserves a little something from us (whether that’s ‘us kids’ or ‘us adopted daughters’ i.e. my friends!). I did buy her a Pina Colada lip balm because why not? She loves Pina Colada (something no one could ever blame her for) and she loves lip balm! Myself and my grandparents had also bought her some Prosecco flavoured lip balm recently so it added to her alcoholic lip balm collection (such a common hobby!). This was from the P.S. Love… collection (Primark’s own beauty range) and smells so strongly of Pina Colada that I’m tempted to use it myself! It’s a bit of a Barbie pink colour in the tin but is applied very sheer. This was only 80p.

The last place I went to and the very last thing I bought was from Select and is this little cami peplum top. I obviously had to buy it in black (why would I even look at the other colours?) but I’ve wanted a top like this all summer and now I finally have one to my name! This was in the sale for £1.99 and so there weren’t many sizes available but I managed to find it in a 14 which makes it even flowier and therefore comfortable to wear. I think with blue jeans this could look effortlessly beautiful and it just looks so pretty on but it’s so comfy. I’d been in Select before but never actually bought anything so I’ll let you know how this wears but this is so soft and I really can’t wait to put it on my body! This is cami meaning it has quite thin straps but for my bigger-chested Munchkins I have found the answer – wear a bra of the same colour with it! I think this works better with black clothes because black bra straps can blend in a bit better and even look a bit trendy but it keeps your modesty in tact and doesn’t make it obvious. I just thought for £1.99 it doesn’t matter if I only wear it a few times and it’s just so lovely! Much excite for this one! I also feel like when I wear it I look like a sophisticated, well-put-together young woman when in fact I’d just bought this for a couple of quid in a sale.

And there we have it! I hope you have enjoyed this blog post – I love writing hauls! Let me know what you’ve been buying recently or what you liked from this little selection that I picked up. Also, let me know what you think of Select clothing if you have any yourself! My friends are trying to reassure me but I still have that first time buyer anxiety!

Thank you so much for reading and I’ll see you soon,

Rachel xx

New Look Wishlist | August 2016

Good Evening Munchkins!

Today I will be sharing with you some little bits and pieces I have found on the New Look website that I am entirely craving! I’m someone who doesn’t always have the money to go shopping and so this affects the amount of hauls I can share on this here blog but I think that this idea could help combat that missing segment of on trend fashion here on the blog (that was the most long-winded sentence I’ve ever written!). I have taken these from the New In section (at time of writing which is 14/08/16) and I hope you enjoy! I love New Look so this just allows me to share some of my new favourite trends with you guys without breaking the bank!

Black Lace Balloon Midi Skirt (£24.99)

Black Lace Balloon Midi Skirt | New Look

At the moment I am loving midi skirts and this one here is a gorgeous black one with a little bit of shape to it that I think will help accentuate my hips (which I like) and skim over my tummy (which I also like!). This also has a slight lacy pattern and an almost mini-skirt underskirt that is completely opaque for modesty reasons (thanks New Look!). I really like how this has an elasticated band to make wearing it even easier but to also further accentuate my waist and hips. Also, because this is black I could wear it all year round with a variety of tops so I think this is something I would definitely get my money’s worth out of! It also looks so elegant and I think for slightly more formal things (like birthday meals out in a proper restaurant) this would be perfect! I am quite short so it may appear quite long on me but that’s only an excuse to wear it even higher waisted!

Peach Sateen Bardot Neck Top – £15.99

Peach Sateen Bardot Neck Top | New Look

A trend I’m loving at the moment is bardot sleeves. I bought a dress a couple of years ago with this trend and ever since I have been on the hunt for even more of these items! New Look have a range of colours of these tops or types of tops and this is the one I’ve fallen in love with! I feel like this nude-y/brown-y/pink-y shade is a very on trend colour as it is (throwing it back to the 90’s!) and I feel it could compliment my skin once I have a tan because it does look a lot warmer than when I’m pale (obviously!). This is elasticated at the sleeves which I also love because I have quite broad shoulders and I’m a very ‘doing’ person (if that makes sense). This is also super flowy so is perfect for everyday wear when I’m just out and about but it could also be dressed up by being tucked into a skirt. The sleeves themselves aren’t fitted which helps for my ‘curvy’ arms! I just think the colour of this is so beautiful – I need it in my life!

Black Busy Doing Nothing Pyjama Set – £14.99

Black Busy Doing Nothing Pyjama Set | New Look

These pyjamas perfectly describe me! Anyone who knows me will know what an introvert I am and how I just love procrastinating or spending my days doing absolutely nothing so these were actually made for me! And their black! I’m actually on the hunt for a new set of pyjamas and I do love the ones with quite slim-leg leggings and baggy tops (I’m wearing a set right now!). The bottoms have a drawstring though they’ll probably be useless on me; everything either fits perfectly or are too small where I’ve tried to be ‘optimistic’. I just love the kind of baseball top vibe (is it baseball top?) and how baggy and just generally cosy they look! I think it’s really good value for money as well considering you get the whole package, as it were. And I wear these types of pyjamas all year round, so I would definitely get my wear out of them!

Black Mesh Panel Cold Shoulder Skater Dress – £29.99

Black Mesh Panel Cold Shoulder Skater Dress | New Look

I’m going to be entirely honest with you now – I don’t actually own a Little Black Dress (I can hear you all screaming at me now! I know, I’m sorry!), so when I saw this one I had to pounce on it! I love this sort of cold shoulder style with the mesh holding you all in a little bit more than a simple bardot sleeved dress would and the circular trim at the neckline just gives it a bit more of a girly edge. I love skater dresses; they are by far my favourite style of dress. They hang so perfectly on my body and cinch in at my waist to accentuate my hips as well and they do tend to fit me quite well in terms of length. I think this would look amazing on nights out and it’s so versatile – I’m already dreaming of all the makeup opportunities! This could also be worn all year round and I just feel it would make me look super feminine and show off the bits I like but hide the things I don’t like (always a positive!). The sleeves themselves are also quite floaty so won’t suck in on my arms at all (another bonus!). Very happy with this one!

Green Camo Print Tunic Dress – £19.99

Green Camo Print Tunic Dress | New Look

And finally, we have another little dress but this one I think would be more suited to everyday wear! I feel like this is quite a bold print to try and pull off and this dress may not suit me (I’ve tried dresses that just hang like this before but my boobs have made it hang out further and inevitably make me look about 20 months pregnant) but there is something about it that gives me hope. I can just imagine wearing it with an over-sized denim jacket and little white plimsoll-type shoes and it working. Hopefully. I feel like the different shades of green would compliment my dirty blonde hair quite well, also. This is a very simple little dress that (as I’ve mentioned) could be dressed up and accessorized very nicely. It has the typical camouflage print that New Look seems to be loving at the moment and it just hangs in quite an over-sized way. Again, the sleeves aren’t tight! I think I could; I hope I could anyway!

And there we have it! I hope you have enjoyed this blog post – I’ve really enjoyed writing this one! If you like this idea let me know in the comments and if you do, let me know what other online shops or brands I should write about! This was only a handful of pieces; New Look has a lot in at the moment for you all to have a look at! Don’t forget to also let me know which is your favourite!

Thank you so much for reading and I’ll see you Thursday,

Rachel xx

Holiday Makeup Tips

Good Evening Munchkins!

Today I will be sharing some tips that you may find helpful if you are travelling or going on holiday at all this summer. I’m personally not going abroad this year but I do think these could be made applicable for even little holidays around the UK (like I am going on). I have used these tips myself so (hopefully!) I should know what I’m talking about.

Take What You Need

I think we’ve all been there when we’ve decided to take a whole bottle of foundation that we try to sneak past security whilst in the airport when in fact you only need a few pumps for the whole holiday. I do think this depends on the holiday because you could be going there for a few days but you could also be going for a few weeks so you need to try and think logically. If I was going for a few days, I would decant some product (e.g. foundation) into something small like a few pairs of contact lenses cases (depending on how much you use daily) because these are very lightweight yet sturdy and are made for liquid  so won’t damage it in anyway. However, for a few weeks I would try and find a small bottle in the airport that I would use quite a lot of whilst I was out there so I wouldn’t have to lug loads back with me when I came home.

Plan Before You Go

Like you would with outfits, I like to plan my makeup and what sort of looks I will wear each day so I don’t end up taking 5 palettes and only using 2. Obviously you can change your mind once your there and you’ve seen your outfit on you, but a rough idea is never a bad idea! I know it’s very easy to pack everything for every occasion because it’s not like you can just pop home and get something but just try to think realistically – if you’re going for a week, are you really going to end up wearing 20 eye shadows and 9 lipsticks?

Take Versatile Products

To kind of follow from my last point, I like to take products I know I can get a lot of wear out of and do so easily and fairly effortlessly. I have a couple of brown/dark eye shadows that I love together and they go with every outfit ever so, for a few days, I could get away with with just taking those products and some lip colours to change it up a bit. I also think you can’t go wrong with a basic nude so these are worn *a lot* on holiday! I do find this quite easy though because when I’m holiday I’m normally in a rush anyway and my imagination is a little bit off with the fairies so just remembering how to do the same look is a task in itself for me! It also speeds things up in the morning just a bit more.

Travel Lightly

To tie all my previous points together, my final tip is to travel lightly. Most of the time if your going somewhere on holiday, you won’t bother with much (if any) makeup to begin with because it’s so hot and you’re there to relax (which I completely understand and appreciate) but if you’re sight-seeing you may want a little something to make you look alive and less like the burnt tourist we all know you are! I think a slightly coloured lip balm and some waterproof mascara will be your bare necessities (waterproof because everyone sweats!) but, me being me, I would chuck on a little bit of eyeliner, too! This means you need to take 3 very lightweight products which could all get through the security at the airport, as well! However, if you do want to go for a full face that is your decision and I probably would myself come the evening when going out anyway. I think if you’re going to take any kind of beauty bits, things like moisturisers, sun creams and after suns should be your priority, but the few I mentioned are only small so they’ll all fit, I’m sure!

And there we have it! I hope you have enjoyed this blog post – I love writing little tips and tricks blog posts so let me know what ones you would like to see next! Also, don’t forget to let me know what you like to do with your face when on holiday or what ones you will now use from this list (if any, that is!).

Thank you for reading and I’ll see you soon,

Rachel xx

July Favourites 2016

Good Evening Munchkins!

Once again, we find ourselves at the end of the month and to celebrate (or sadly remember) this I have another Favourites post for you. July’s been alright as far as months go, definitely better than June but it could still have been better. I broke up from school and in doing so waved ‘goodbye’ to Year 10 and am now * so looking forward* to Year 11. I think that’s another blog post in itself but summer has now finally begun in my eyes and I’m thoroughly chuffed about it! I’m even writing this blog post whilst sunbathing in my garden! I have collected a few Favourites for you this month so I think I shall proceed with the blog post.

The first thing I have been loving this month has been the Charlie body spray in the scent Rio Rebel. A huge variety of brands have produced products fit for the up-coming Olympics in Rio and this is no different. Personally, I don’t really like that whole branding thing but the scent of this is just too gorgeous to not mention. This is literally how I expect Rio or the Caribbean to smell in a can (despite the crime and drugs, of course) with ingredients such as coconut to list. This is what I consider a perfect summer scent; tropical, sweet and cocktail-like (the latter clearly having most importance!). The can itself also looks really pretty and stand-out on my dressing table. This is available in Superdrug and most supermarkets but is limited edition for the Olympics so you need to go out and get it pretty soon before it disappears forever! I will definitely be stocking up!

Onto the makeup side of beauty, I have been loving this blusher from an unknown brand called Mirror Mirror Make Me Blush. I received this in a magazine well over a year ago and I thought I would bring it back out now it’s slightly warmer and oh-me-oh-my is this the most beautiful coral/pink blush I ever did put on my face! I’m still wearing a slightly paler foundation and just bronzing up loads because my neck clearly doesn’t know how to tan and it still looks amazing! This is super pigmented so you do need to be careful to not end up looking like a Russian Doll but this really does add a stunning summer vibe to any makeup look. You guys also know how much I love my corals so this was going to be a win for me from the very beginning.

The third and final beauty favourite for this month has been the O.P.I nail polish in Bubble Bath. I mentioned this recently in this HERE blog post and I’m so glad I decided to apply it. At this time of year, I kind of see nude nails as the new black; they go with every outfit and look absolutely gorgeous with or without a tan. It also applies glossy on my nails and  it just looks amazing and super summery. Really makes my lack of tan stand out, also. This is a beautiful colour and I personally think nude nails are so underrated at this time of year. I have gone into more depth about in the linked blog post. You can purchase this HERE.

Onto random favourites and something I have been loving yet again this month has been writing. I can’t remember what Favourites I’ve mentioned it in previously (I feel like it was May or something like that) but it was around the time I created my Wattpad account and this month since I’ve broken up from school I’ve been writing on it twice a week as well as uploading three blog posts a week (how I do it, I’ll never know!). I’ve started a full-on story now which I’ve been loving writing. If you want to give it a read just let me know and I’ll go into it in a bit more detail but long story short (pun not intended) I’ve fallen back in love with writing big time and I’m oh-so happy about it!

Finally, something a little different that I’ve never spoken about before are these Feroglobin pills that help to boost my energy. I’m a pescatarian, meaning I eat fish but not any other types of meat so there is a huge gap in terms of protein in my diet and this can affect my energy levels and further knock-on effects from that. I used to take these particular pills but stopped because you had to take it with food and I always forgot and saw it as such a hassle but now I’ve built it into my daily routine and the benefits have been almost immediate. I started taking them Monday and already in these 7 days I’ve been taking them, I’ve noticed a huge difference in my energy and mood from that also and I’m now completing much more in a day than I would before. I can also stay awake all day, as well, which, before taking these pills, I hadn’t done in so long! These are available in most supermarkets.

And there we have it! I hope you have enjoyed this blog post – let me know what you’ve been loving this month and what you think of any of these products if you use them yourselves! I also hope you have been enjoying this gorgeous weather as I have if you are in the UK at the moment!

Thank you so much for reading and I’ll see you Tuesday,

Rachel xx
