EOTD: Christmas Party Glitter Eyeliner | Blogmas

Good Afternoon Munchkins!

Today, as the final day of Blogmas, I thought I would share with you an eye makeup look I wore to a Christmas party last night (hence the lateness of this blog post, I’m so sorry!) and was very well received. It combined two of my favourite things, glitter and eyeliner, and looks oh-so festive but glam at the same time and was just gorgeous. It also meant using a new product I was gifted by one of my friends earlier in the week and I have literally been living in since! This is possibly the only time of year I can get away with glitter liner, so I’m getting my worth out of it!

So here is the makeup look in question:

As you can tell, this is really subtle but still stunning at the same time, meaning you can wear literally any lip colour with it. On this occasion I opted for a pink lip just because I hadn’t worn that particular lipstick in a while and logistically it meant I didn’t need to keep reapplying during the night no matter how much I ate or drank. I also only used one palette for this look (it’s a Christmas miracle!)! This look could actually be worn at any time of day or year as it is super versatile!

As I wanted all the attention on my eyeliner, I decided I wanted to go pretty neutral on the actual lid but still have a little bit of definition and darkness. The first thing I did, of course, was apply a primer onto my lids and set it with a little bit of powder – I genuinely don’t think I could ever miss this step! For this look, I only used the Urban Decay Naked Palette, available from Feel Unique. I took my first shade, Naked, on a medium-sized, flat-headed eye shadow brush and applied it all over my lid. This doesn’t have to be too neat but this just colour corrected where the primer hadn’t and created a nice, neutral base to begin with. I can’t believe I hadn’t actually used this eye shadow before!

On a dense blending brush I took Buck and applied this into my crease and on the outer third of my eye. This just created a little bit of definition and begun the gradient I wanted to make on my lid. As long term readers will know, this is my absolute go-to transition shade so it’s no surprise I went in with this one!

Finally, I took the shade Hustle and applied this on the outer corner of my crease and dragged it down a little bit to the outer edge of my lash line. I then blended everything all together so that Hustle and Buck could become seamless and create that gradient I longed for! This is shimmery so use this one carefully but I think in small amounts it can still give the impression you want.

I then finished off with a little bit of black eyeliner and created the usual flick I do, which you can do to your own discretion. I personally love mine quite thick (Amy Winehouse slays my soul!) so please do not feel alarmed in how you ‘must’ do it! I have found, however, that the thicker it is the easier the glitter is to apply. The black eyeliner I used was the Rimmel Scandaleyes Gel Eyeliner in Black, available from Boots and Superdrug. With the glitter eyeliner, I simply traced the upper line of my original eyeliner and I just love how this looks! This is quite wet so keep your eyes closed whilst it’s drying, but once it’s on it does not budge! I know some will want just silver eyeliner, which you can do but I personally find this easiest and more subtle, (which I do prefer). The glitter eyeliner I used was the Collection Glam Crystals Dazzling Gel Liner in Glitz, also available from Boots and Superdrug.

And there we have it! I hope you have enjoyed this blog post and this past month of my presence – I love Blogmas, as stressful as it can sometimes be! As I mentioned earlier, this look can go with any lip colour and in the near future I will have to wear it with a red lip, me thinks! Let me know what your go-to Christmas party look is or what you think of the glitter liner! I will now be taking a little break from blogging but I will be back on the 1st January, so I hope you have a very merry Christmas and a happy new year!

Thank you so much for reading and I will see you soon,

Navy Smokey Eye Makeup Tutorial | Blogmas

Good Evening Munchkins!

Today I would like to share a makeup tutorial with you on a navy smokey eye which I had so much fun creating for you! Navy/blue eye makeup is very on trend this season and, when worn fairly subtly and with other complimentary colours, I think it can look amazing! I would personally wear this on a night out because it isn’t too ‘in-your-face’ blue, which I think we all have a low-key fear of, and it includes a little bit of shimmer. This was inspired by one eye shadow in particular which I will point out to you later. I think blue eye shadows/makeup can look amazing with brown eyes, so if you have brown/hazel-y eyes, this is one for you!

The first thing I’m going to do, as per usual, is apply a primer and set it with some translucent powder. The primer will just make the colours pop a little bit more and also enhance the longevity of it, and the powder will help blending later on, something which I find super important with a smokey eye! I then went in with my first colour which is Buck from the Urban Decay Naked Palette (available from Feel Unique) and applied this in my crease. This has some slight orange undertones so would compliment the blue perfectly and is just a staple transition/crease shade for me!

I then headed over to my Makeup Revolution Palette in Ultra Flawless Mattes (available from Superdrug) and took the shades Mud and Leather (second row down, the third one in and the second one in, respectively). I also took these through my crease but more concentrated-ly (good English there!) whereas I’d really blown Buck out to make it look super smokey. I just did this to darken it a bit and so add some more definition. I then took Earth (the one on the bottom row) from the same palette and put this in the outer third of my crease just to create a kind of gradient that I think is 100% necessary for a smokey eye, not matter how much extra time it may take!

From the same palette, again, I took the shade Charcoal (second row up, far right) and applied this on the outer quarter of my eye and blended it forward so it looked as if it covered the outer third. I personally like this in a smokey eye as it allows me to overlap my main eye shadow and so make it all look seamless and as one *cue Spice Girls*. This is a matte dark blue that I knew would build a little bit more definition on my lid and so make the lighter colours also stand out. And you have to have a little bit of darkness really, don’t you?

My penultimate shade from the Makeup Revolution Palette was Smoke (above Charcoal). This is a matte light blue that I placed on the inner section of my eye to brighten it some more and prepare for the gradient that was about to come! This also unintentionally matched the main lid colour so helped it all blend seamlessly. At this point you can be quite messy, and you are more able to get rid of any mistakes with this colour because it is so light.

Finally, the main star of the show which inspired this whole look! I took Gunmetal from the Naked palette and placed this on the centre of my lid. This is a gorgeous shimmery blue that really helps to brighten the eye and gives some glitter reflexes that look stunning! I then blended everything all together one last time to make it look even more flawless and ensure there were no harsh lines. I think with a little bit of eyeliner and a nude, pink lip this would look stunning for a New Year’s Eve Party!

And there we have it! I hope you have enjoyed this blog post – I have loved writing this one for you guys so let me know if you would like to see more makeup tutorials in the future! Also, don’t forget to let me know what you think of this look or navy/blue smokey eyes in general and your view on the trend!

Merry Christmas Eve Eve, thank you so much for reading and I’ll see you tomorrow,

Rachel xx

Christmas Go-To Nails | Blogmas

Good Evening Munchkins!

Today I thought I would share with you my Go-To Nails which are so quick and simple enough for even me to complete! I did do my nails this morning so it’s been a bit of a rush getting all the pictures for you, so I will apologise now! Next time I will be much more prepared, I promise! This nail look combines my two favourite things: black and glitter. I’m not someone who goes all out with patterns and accessories for my nails, mainly because I bite them and also I’m always typing, so they get chipped really easily no matter what! Anyway, as its the most wonderful time of the year, I thought I would still make the effort and paint them nonetheless because I am off school for two weeks now and I might as well fully embrace it!

The first thing I do (which is a shock to everyone, myself included) is apply a base coat. You can get these near enough anywhere but I just use the New Look Top and Base Coat simply because it was to hand and I don’t own any others! I told you I was good at all this nail business! Personally, I prefer to do this because it makes it easier to remove the polish, doesn’t stain the nails once you do remove it and it just makes me feel like I’ve fully completed it so can enjoy it! It’s not always necessary but it probably is with a black nail polish as it is so dark but do this to your own discretion. This is one of those things I’m not too fussed about and as long as it ‘does the job’ I’m all cool with it!

I then apply my first colour which is the Maybelline Colour Show Nail Polish in 677 Blackout which has got to be the blackest beauty product I own (so therefore receives more brownie points!). Most of the time I can get away with one coat but if certain nails need touching up or have become streaky (which will look quite obvious as it is so dark) I will add another layer just to even it up. I know this is going to sound random but I really like the brush on this, it’s really thick! I personally love black for a general ‘go-to’ colour because it matches with everything and isn’t too ‘in your face’, which really suits me. Of course, if you like bright colours go ahead, its just not very me at this time of year! This nail polish is available from Boots and Superdrug.

Next comes the glitter! A fair few years ago now I bought a little set of mini nail polishes which are mainly glitter based from Claires all in different colours and this is the time of year that they come out to play! This time I decided to take the silver one (there are around 5 or 6 colours in the set I think though I’d have a hard time telling you what each one is!) and just applied this onto my wedding ring finger on my left hand and what would be my wedding ring finger on the right. I think this is called the accent finger but I could have that completely wrong! I’m so happy with how this looks and, because the bottle and wand are so small, I couldn’t go wrong with it! I personally love silver at this time of year because it compliments most colours, matches my everyday jewelry and looks like little snowflakes! I couldn’t do Christmas without glitter really, could I?

Finally, I be the good citizen I am and apply a top coat (the same as mentioned earlier). This just ensures everything is locked in place, reduces the chances of chipping (which I like and take advantage of a lot) and gets rid of the gritty feel that glitter can have and I hate with a passion. It’s crazy how much I love glitter but it’s just one little thing and I hate it again! I’m only joking, I could never hate glitter!

And there we have it! I hope you have enjoyed this blog post – I love writing little nail blog posts like this so I think I should do so a bit more! Let me know what other nail blog posts you would like to see and I will have a good go at it for you! Also, don’t forget to let me know what your Go-To Nails are for this time or just generally all year round! I think I need some new inspiration!

Thank you so much for reading and I’ll see you tomorow,

My Favourite Christmas Songs 2016 | Blogmas

Good Evening Munchkins!

Today I will be chatting you through my current Favourite Christmas Songs of 2016. When growing up, my parents would always play those massive bumper CD’s with like 30 different Christmas songs on them and so I have always been surrounded by jingle bells and all the festive tunes we have become used to! However, as I’ve grown older I’ve been able to branch out and find my own Christmas songs which have become staples for me that must be played at least 7 times a day from November the 1st! They are also perfect for playing in the background just to lift the festive spirit slightly!

Pentatonix – Winter Wonderland

This is probably the least Christmassy song on the list but I love it nonetheless. I’m not a huge follower of the Pentatonix but as soon as I heard this song I fell in love! This is a mash-up of Winter Wonderland and Don’t Worry, Be Happy and also features Tori Kelly so contains some extreme vocals and has a little reggae/soul beat that I live for! Some mash-ups can be a bit awkward-ly done but this is so seamless and just works together so well. I love both of these songs so when they’re put together, they sound simply stunning!

Leona Lewis – One More Sleep

This second song is also less traditional but it does relate to Christmas in some way, I promise! Leona Lewis has been on my radar for like 10 years now and I’ve loved her from the X Factor days so anything she brings out has to be listened to on repeat until I love it and am bleeding the lyrics! This is a more romanticized song but I don’t mind – I can still dream! I also think people find it harder to accept new, original Christmas songs but she has done is so well with a really pop-y vibe and some flawless vocals, which we would expect from Miss Lewis. If you haven’t heard this, you need to – right now!

Kelly Clarkson – Underneath The Tree

Another new, original song by another effortlessly amazing female! This is, again, quite pop-y but does involve those jingle bells we see as a Christmas staple and her vocals literally send shivers down my spine! This is an upbeat one that you will for sure find me dancing around to in the shower! If you need a little pick-up or just want to find something that will immediately make you feel festive and cosy, this is the song for you!

The Pogues – Fairytale of New York

Finally, a complete classic! I don’t think I could go a year without this song, it is my ultimate favourite Christmas song. Although a little bit slower, it puts a little twist on what we expect from a Christmas song and so follows my ethic of ‘expect the unexpected’. I’m also a sucker for a duet! If I could find the right guy, I would love to sing this for myself because it has a little bit of Irish charm whilst still being 100% realistic but providing us with the happiness Christmas surrounds us in! If you haven’t heard this song, you must’ve been living under a rock; it is definitely worth a listen!

And there we have it! I hope you have enjoyed this blog post – I have loved chatting away to you guys, as per usual! Let me know what Christmas songs you love or what you think of this little selection I’ve provided for you! I can’t believe how close we finally are to the big day, I’m so excited!

Thank you so much for reading and I’ll see you tomorrow,

A-Z of Me | Blogmas

Good Evening Munchkins!

Today I thought I would share with you the A-Z of Me, which sounds really narcissistic, but I thought it would be a fun way of sharing little anecdotes and teaching you little things about myself. If this isn’t your thing I completely understand but I saw someone else write this a few months ago and wrote it down meaning to write it pretty soon after, but now seems like the right time! I’m going to write whatever comes into my mind first so be prepared for the craziness, happiness and sadness that will come from this blog post! I also highly recommend you guys try this as well because it really is fun and gets you thinking!

Amy Winehouse

Anyone who knows me will know about my complete love for Amy Winehouse! I started listening to her in around February and I have never looked back! I guess I just enjoy her style of music (jazz/soul) and as I go through life I find a lot more of her lyrics relatable so I then enjoy them more but with a lot more sass and bitterness to it (which is obviously always a good thing!).

This could be misconstrued so let me explain: I have been raised literally predominantly by boys. I have 4 male cousins (2 older, 2 younger), a younger brother, I used to have 2 step-brothers, and 2 third cousins who are the same age as me who are also boys. I personally really liked this because I feel it has made me into the person I am now (how cheesy) and means that now I’m older and want to go out with boys (as friends and perhaps, maybe, even more) I don’t get as nervous as other girls who have only ever surrounded themselves with girls. This is literally to the point where my Mum’s worried about my lack of female relations but I really don’t mind.

I have lived my entire life surrounded by cats. When I was first born, my Mum and Dad had this rescue cat called Elsa who they had to put down when I was a few weeks old, they then had Samson who escaped, then Pebbles and Tilly (I literally went into mourning when Tilly died but with Pebbles we kind of expected it!), then it was Jasmine who had three kittens, Max, Sophie and Ruby. Max disappeared (we think it was because the rabbit kept humping him) but Sophie and Ruby had a litter of kittens each who we then had to sell and then we finally got Louis. So we are now left with those final 3. To say I’ve had a fair share of cats would be a slight understatement!

Since my parents split up, I haven’t had the best relationship with my Dad. Let’s move on…

Existential Crisis

Literally every waking moment. This has only been exacerbated by the looming exams I have and moving onto college. When Donald Trump was elected president, I was literally woken up and told so the first thing I said at 7:15 that morning was ‘what is the point in life. We’re all going to be dead in 6 months. Everything in life is insignificant’. I have no trust in this president whatsoever.

Frank Sinatra

I am currently going through a huge Frank Sinatra stage. I love his songs and I’m actually looking forward to watching Elf this year just for all the Frank Sinatra music. I can’t even think what genre of music it is. Jazz? Swing? Soul? Either way, I love it!

Great British Bake Off

I really got into this years series of the Great British Bake Off… just as it’s about to move channels and lose all it’s Mary Berry goodness! Nothing pains me more than knowing I won’t have any sarcastic Mel and Sue commentary over sweating middle-aged women anymore.

I have always had a really geek-y obsession with History and I love it so much. I can remember at the age of 6 learning about Barnardos and the origins of it in Victorian London and being the only one in my class who actually enjoyed it. And I wondered why no one liked me!

I’ve always had a huge imagination and I hope to put this to some use in a creative career of some sort one day. I’ve always had some kind of project that I’ve enjoyed fueling my imagination into and I guess this is how this blog has evolved.

This was the name I would’ve had if I was born a boy and, as it happens, is the name of my Mum’s new girlfriends son. What a crazy world we live in!

About 18 months ago, I became completely addicted to Keeping Up With The Kardashians and, even though I don’t watch it anymore, I still stay up to date with them and track their every move. Obviously that last point I was joking…

For as long as I can remember, I have loved going to London on day trips because I live like two and a half hours away, so when we went it was always a special treat. My aunt also lives in South London and I love seeing her whenever I can. Fun fact, I was born just outside of London, as well. It’s basically the best!

I’m literally already having nightmares about the menopause but I’m only 15 years old! Can you tell I couldn’t think of anything else for ‘M’?!

I hate Finding Nemo and Finding Dory with a passion. It’s only because I have the biggest fear of the sea (I love Dory as a character!) and no one really appreciates how realistic Pixar designs it’s sea other than me. I literally can’t watch it just for the graphics. Well done but, no.

Officially the best colour ever! There is nothing I own that isn’t orange – it’s a slight obsession that’s become insanely destructive on my life!

This summer I was supposed to go to Paris for a few days but it turns out my Granny was actually developing a cancer tumor and was struggling to walk to the end of her garden let alone around France, so I ended up not going. My Granddad always promised that we would go once she was better but in October he actually passed away so when I do, hopefully, end up going to Paris, I think it will be a very emotional experience.

Earlier this year, I was lucky enough to watch a baby quail being born (or hatch from it’s egg) in the comfort of my own home irl. I loved that little quail so much but I never saw him again. Sad times. His name was Bobby and he was just the cutest.

For those of you who don’t know, my name is Rachel and I run the blog Chummy R! When I was younger I actually hated my name because I used to hate standing out and there was no one else in my year with the same name as me. I quite like it now though, being different doesn’t bother me so much, ecspecially as I’m in a school double the size now.

I think I was the only child ever who didn’t like and so didn’t watch Spongebob. I don’t know why, but I genuinely got weird vibes from Patrick. He just freaked me out and I don’t know why. Sorry for offending everyone!

Three Men and a Baby

This film literally raised me and it was my first favourite film ever! I think it explains a lot but if you haven’t seen it and love a comedy, this is the one for you! It is from the 1980’s but I still absolutely adore it!

U + Ur Hand by Pink

This was a song released when I was a lot, lot younger and now that I understand the full meaning, I am completely in love with it! I guess I find it more applicable now, as a lot of girls my age would, but I love really sassy, shady songs and so this ticks all those boxes! If you want a bit of a giggle, check this song out!

Viennesse Whirl

When my first boyfriend split up with me and got a new girlfriend, me and my best friend decided to nickname her Vienensse Whirl because her name was something similar to that and I could never pronounce it correctly! For those that don’t know, a Viennesse Whirl is basically just a sandwich biscuit with cream in the middle, but it made us giggle. Don’t forget, be the bigger person…even if it does make you giggle for a little while!

Walt Disney

I am a massive Disney addict and growing up has not and will not change that in the slightest! I really like the classic ones like Peter Pan or Cinderella but I’m not impartial to the new ones. The ones that have their own soundtrack that I can sing along to as well – love them! I also love those massive bumper CD’s of the best songs from over the years! I’m just a child in a teenager’s body, I swear!

One of my proudest moments from being a child was playing the xylophone in my class’ assembly at school on a Friday. If your class was the chosen one for that weeks assembly to perform a musical piece, you felt as if you had been blessed by the Gods and it was literally a fight of the fittest to get the xylophone, and one time I did. And it is no lie that a lot of shade was thrown my way! It was a huge responsibility!

I am a huge YouTube obsessive! I love nothing more than watching half an hour long vlogs or makeup tutorials or hauls or just anything really. If there is click bait, you can be guaranteed I’m going to watch it!

Zany Zebras

In the summer, there was this Zany Zebra hunt in the city where my friend lives and we were going to go do it but we never got round to it which I was genuinely disappointed about! It was basically the art students at the university creating different designs on these model zebras for a local zoo to help raise money for it or something like that. Some of the designs were actually really cool and I really wish I’d gone to look for them!

And there we have it! I hope you have enjoyed this blog post – although it took some time, I’ve really enjoyed writing it! Let me know what your personal A-Z would be or what things I’ve mentioned you would like to discuss – I’d love to chat with you guys!

Thank you so much for reading and I’ll see you tomorrow,

Rachel xx

My Christmas Wishlist 2016 | Blogmas

Good Afternoon Munchkins!

Today, as it is only 1 week until the big day, I thought I would share with you some of the items on my Christmas Wishlist. Normally, I’m quite a particular person in terms of what I want and I am like Rachel in Friends where everyone has to ‘stick to the list’, but I do also receive some surprises from the people who know me best. This means I do know some of the bigger things I am getting but not all, so I thought I would share them with you. Also, please don’t think I am showing off in anyway, that is the last thing I want to do and I just want it to prepare you for what’s to come in the new year on this blog or give you some inspiration if you are still in need of present buying.

Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in Watermelon Soda

The first main present I have asked for this year is the Jeffree Star Liquid Lipstick in Watermelon Soda. I am a complete newbie to liquid lipsticks – I do not own a single one so I knew I wanted to try one and Christmas was just around the corner, so why not ask for one now? I’ve also heard amazing things about the Jeffree Star Liquid Lipsticks and he is my queen, I love him so much! This is a higher end one, hence why I’ve asked for it for Christmas, and the colour is a gorgeous summer-y pink which I’m dying to wear with a tan. Okay, so it’s the wrong time of year but it won’t stop me! I’m so looking forward to finally trying it out and seeing what everyone is raving about!

Black Vans

The next thing I’ve asked for is also something I have been lusting after for ages! I’ve wanted to be the proud owner of a pair of Vans for years and there’s an outlet near where I live it was quite easy to go get a discounted pair and so entice the Mother! As I’m completely addicted to the colour black, it only seemed fitting to buy the pair with black canvas and black soles, and they will for sure go with everything! I’m so looking forward to these; I could wear them literally all year around with practically everything and, for such expensive shoes, I think that is necessary! It was an embarrassing experience when buying them, though – thought I was a size 4 but ended up buying a size 3.5. I’m just so tiny!

Morphe 35(I’ve forgotten the letter of it) Palette

This was a late night purchase that was a bit of an impulse buy when the Mother decided I needed one more big present. Again, I’ve heard amazing things about Morphe as a general brand and now that they’re readily available in the UK, there is nothing stopping me! You get such a variety of gorgeous, pigmented colours for a relatively cheap price and I think I may start collecting them! I have no idea where I’m going to put it because they are huge! This is quite a neutral palette so I will be able to try it every single day. Look forward to all those new EOTD’s and makeup tutorials because I seriously am!

All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven

The final thing that I can remember asking for (my memory has just gone to fluff) is a book entitled All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven. This was recommended to me by two of my closest friends and it was included in the Zoella book club in the summer and everyone’s been raving about it and basically, I’m last on the bandwagon once again! I know the general plot of it but I’m just so looking forward to getting into another book and ignoring the demands of the world for words on paper! I have asked for quite a few books because I find it a massive relaxant, particularly at this stage in my life, so I may speak about them a bit more in the future.

And there we have it! I hope you have enjoyed this blog post – I have genuinely forgotten most of my presents but I hope I have given you some ideas! Also, don’t forget to let me know if you have any of these items and what you think of them, or let me know what you have on your wishlist this year! I honestly hope you get everything you wish for this year, but it’s not just about the materialistic things, don’t forget!

Thank you so much for reading and I’ll see you tomorrow,

My Favourite Makeup Looks With a Red Lip | Blogmas

Good Afternoon Munchkins!

Today I thought I would share with you some of my favourite makeup looks that I like to wear with a red lip. At this time of year, I’m living in a red lip throughout the good, the bad, and the ugly so I also need to have some variety on my eyes or I will just get bored of doing the same thing over and over! In saying that, I do love to keep it fairly traditional and keep most of the attention on my lips, but I still have a choice which I do need (despite being so indecisive!). This basically means everything else on my face is relatively low-key (i.e. white highlighter instead of purple!). All of these are super quick and simple in order to give you the most amount of time on your lips – it is the most difficult part after all!

The first look is probably the most neutral of them all and is perfect for beginners as there is no possible chance of error. For this I take my Urban Decay Naked Palette and take Buck on a small, dense blending brush and pop it into my crease. From the same palette, I take Half Baked on a medium-sized, flat-headed eye shadow brush and apply it all over the lid. If need be, I will re-apply a little bit of Buck and blend out the edges to make it look even more contoured and seamless, but that is down to personal preference. This is possibly the safest out of the three I’m going to show you because you can be assured it will match a red lip (or any lip for that matter!) and you can do whatever you want on the rest of the face. I do also apply a primer underneath this look.

The second look is the darkest of the three but it’s still so easy and can look stunning. I take a little bit of the Maybelline 24hr Colour Tattoo in On and On Bronze (available from Boots and Superdrug) on my index finger and place it all over my lid. This doesn’t have to be perfectly applied at this stage but it does need to be on the lid itself. You can also blend out the edges at this stage if you would prefer to do it now rather than at the end. I then go into my Collection Little Mix All About The Eyes Palette and take the shade Dazzling Brown on a small, flat-headed eye shadow brush and apply this on the outer third of my eye. This is a really dark brown so do this at your own discretion; you don’t even need to apply this shade if you don’t want to as On and On Bronze does look just as gorgeous on it’s own. I then blend the two together and it’s all done! I would say this is more appropriate for evening wear but it is down to you; I have worn this out and about before and it’s been absolutely fine. As the first eye shadow is cream, I don’t need to apply a primer so it saves time there, as well.

The final eye makeup look that I love is the most simplest of the bunch but is still not as neutral as the first one. Literally, all I do for this one is take my Sleek -Divine palette in Oh So Special (available from Boots and Superdrug) and apply the shade Gift Basket with my finger all over my lid. I will also blend out the edges if need be to make it even more seamless. This is a gorgeous coppery-brown shade so really compliments blue eyes. I just apply this with my finger as it appears more pigmented this way and I will, again, have to use a primer with this. It is also a little bit more ‘out there’ but does still match a red lip perfectly.

And there we have it! I hope you have enjoyed this blog post – I’ve loved writing it so let me know if you would like to see more of these! Also, don’t forget to let me know what eye makeup looks you like to pair with a red lip or which looks you will now be trying from my little selection!

Thank you so much for reading and I’ll see you tomorrow,
